Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
“Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

Lord, the house feels quieter than I know how to get used to now that my children have moved on to their own lives. I'm proud of who they're becoming, even while I grieve the season that's ending. Help me find purpose in this next chapter instead of only feeling the absence of the last one.
Show me who I am outside of the daily routines of raising them, and help our relationship keep growing even from a distance. Thank you for the years you gave us together. In Jesus' name, Amen.
