Lord, I have something hard ahead of me today, a conversation, a task, a confrontation I have been avoiding. Give me the courage to face it instead of putting it off again. Take away the spirit of fear and replace it with a sound mind and steady words.
Help me speak the truth with both honesty and kindness. Whatever the outcome, let me walk away knowing I did the right thing even though it was hard. In Jesus' name, Amen.
