Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
All your children will be taught by Yahweh; and your children’s peace will be great.
I have no greater joy than this: to hear about my children walking in truth.
But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children,

Lord, these children you gave me are the greatest gift and the greatest responsibility I have ever carried. I can’t protect them from everything, and I can’t make every choice for them forever, so I place them in your hands again today. Give them hearts that seek you and roots that hold steady no matter what culture or circumstance throws at them.
Let my home be a place where they learn to trust you because they first saw me trust you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
