If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.
He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.

Lord, I slipped back into this again, and the shame is telling me I've ruined all the progress I made. I don't want to believe that lie, even though it feels true right now. Your mercy meets me here too, not just on the good days.
Help me get back up instead of giving up on recovery altogether, and give me the humility to tell my support system what happened instead of hiding it. One relapse isn't the end of my story. Walk with me back toward freedom.
