Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Yet I wish that all men were like me. However each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.
Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

Lord, I don't understand why this season of being single has lasted so long, and some days it's hard not to feel forgotten in this one area of my life. Help me believe that you see this ache and that you haven't overlooked me. Teach me to build a full, meaningful life right now instead of treating today as a waiting room.
Quiet the comparison that creeps in when everyone around me seems to have found someone. Whatever you have for me, help me trust your timing more than my own timeline. In Jesus' name, Amen.
