For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven:
But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said, “You are my God.” My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.
For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.

Lord, my timeline and yours don't seem to match, and that gap is where most of my frustration lives right now. Help me trust that your sense of timing isn't careless, even when it feels slow to me. I don't want to force something open before it's ready, and I don't want to miss something because I got tired of waiting.
Teach me to hold my plans loosely and your promises tightly, believing you are never late even when you aren't early. In Jesus' name, Amen.
