My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
“Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.

Lord, the numbers just aren’t adding up right now, and it is hard not to panic about it. You have never failed to provide for your people, even when the how wasn’t clear to them yet. I ask you plainly for provision, for this month, for what my family needs.
Help me be wise with what I have and honest about what I don’t. Keep worry from crowding out my trust in you. Provide for us, Lord, in whatever way you see fit.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
