Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Lord, I lost my patience again today and I keep wondering if I am doing any of this right. Thank you that your mercies are new every morning, because I need a fresh start more often than I’d like to admit. I don’t have to be a perfect parent, I just need to keep showing up, keep apologizing when I get it wrong, and keep pointing my kids toward you.
Give me wisdom I don’t have on my own, and grace for the days I fall short. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
