Lord, this anger keeps flaring up faster than I can catch it, and I don’t like who I become when it takes over. I want to be quick to listen and slow to speak, but lately I’ve been neither. Help me pause before I react.
Show me what’s really underneath this anger, hurt, fear, exhaustion, so I can bring that to you instead of unloading it on people who don’t deserve it. Grow patience in me where there is none right now. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
