Worrying about what's coming
When your mind races and peace feels far away.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Lord, I keep living in a future that hasn’t happened yet, rehearsing worst cases that may never come. You already hold every day I am afraid of. I commit my path to you instead of trying to map it out myself.
Where I cannot see, help me trust that you can. Quiet the what-ifs and replace them with confidence in who you are, good, faithful, and already ahead of me on the road. Walk with me one day at a time.
