Lord, what my friend did cut deeper because I trusted them, and I didn't expect to be hurt by someone that close. Help me process this honestly instead of pretending it doesn't sting. Show me whether this friendship can be repaired or whether I need to grieve it and let it go.
Either way, keep bitterness from taking root in me. Give me wisdom about what to say, and grace to forgive even if the friendship doesn't look the same again. In Jesus' name, Amen.
